Fines (Changes Effective March 1, 2009)
- $1.00 per day for overdue videos and dvds to a $10.00 maximum
- $1.00 per day for Frequent Flyer items
- 20 cents per day for all other overdue material, $7.00 maximum per item
- In order to continue borrowing, fine limits must be kept under $5.00
- Library charges must be cleared from all library cards annually

No fines are charged for days library is closed.
We
can borrow books for you from other libraries in Halton, or if not available
locally, then from other Ontario public libraries. We can borrow microfilm
from national and provincial archives. We cannot borrow A/V material,
current bestsellers, reference material or school textbooks. Please
ask at the Information Desk.
You may use your Milton library card without charge at the following public libraries: Oakville, Burlington, Halton Hills, Hamilton and Wellington County. You must show your Milton library card and be registered in their database.
You may make suggestions for the library to purchase. Please give us as much information as you can about the author and title. We cannot purchase every suggestion. If you want a hold placed on material suggested, please provide your name and library card number.
