Due dates are extended from the date of renewal. Two renewals, if there are no other requests for the item. Extended loans for vacations, et cetera, available upon request.
Fines are charged for materials returned after the date due back. No fines are charged on days the library is closed. All Library charges must be cleared from cardholder's record annually.
An accumulation of unpaid fines will result in the suspension of library privileges.
The full cost of the item plus a processing fee will be charged. A refund can be obtained within six months, but item late charges will be levied.
The Milton Public Library is not responsible for any damage to patron's audio visual equipment as a result of using library audio visual material.
You may use your Milton library card without charge at the following public libraries: Oakville, Burlington, Halton Hills, Hamilton and Wellington County. You must show your Milton library card and be registered in their database.
You may make suggestions for the library to purchase. Please give us as much information as you can about the author and title. We cannot purchase every suggestion. If you want a hold placed on material suggested, please provide your name and library card number.
