Milton Public Library Announces New Website Launch

Milton Public Library is kicking off the New Year with a revamped website for patrons on January 8. The innovative and completely redesigned website offers visitors a clean design and intuitive site-wide navigation with improved menu functionality. It helps patrons to more easily and quickly access essential information, including programs, online resources, hours of operation, and of course, books, movies, and more.

The refreshed website presents an improved user experience and enhanced content focused on MPL's mission to empower the community to read, learn, create, and connect. The new website goes live on January 8 and is located at the same address:

"We are excited about MPL's new website launch and the robust information it provides for patrons," said Leslie Fitch, CEO and Chief Librarian of Milton Public Library. "We believe that this new site will allow patrons to have a very intuitive experience as we continue to grow and expand our online resources, programs, and selection of books and other offerings. We'd like to thank the community and existing patrons for their feedback, which was key to the development and layout of this new website."

Milton Public Library's new website will continue to offer accessibility options, including large font and high contrast options. The website will also be mobile-friendly and highlight rich offerings for all audiences, including children, teens, adults and seniors as well as those new to Canada.

MPL's new website will be updated on a regular basis with news, special events, and new resources and databases as they become available. Visitors are encouraged to explore the website come January 8 and sign up for direct emails from the library.

If you live, work, or go to school in the Town of Milton, you are eligible for a library card, at no cost. A Visit Will Get You Thinking.
