Leading to Reading

Readers Needed

Do you have a reluctant reader in grades 1-4? Do they avoid reading or reading aloud to you? Support your child's reading skills as they read one-on-one with a teen volunteer and play fun literacy based games.

Please print Leading to Reading application forms or pick up in person at either Main Library or Beaty Branch beginning November 13. Applications will be accepted until December 18.
This is a lottery based program and all successful applicants will be notified by December 27.

Newcomers to Canada are invited to come learn more about Canada’s banking system, money management, credit, and fraud prevention. Richard Haggins, Senior Education Facilitator with Credit Canada Debt Solutions, will lead the seminar and answer your money-based questions.
